Cool Spotting. Weirdo Parent Gear

Do you ever see those products that make your eyes go big and your shoulders relax as you proclaim "YES! That is what I have been needing!"  As parents, we often hit challenges that make us feel like we can't surmount them.  Well, of course, someone is almost always waiting with a product that can immensely help out with whatever your offspring has thrown at you.  There are more and more companies introducing slick and edgy looking gear every year.  Here are my favorite things on the market right now to help you out with your parental life while keeping you aesthetically on target.  NOTE: each of these items I chose to feature are things I use(d) often and felt were essential.  Many of them were things I couldn't have fathomed before hand, but became vital to making life easier.  Why do I need stroller hooks? TRUST ME YOU NEED THEM.

What was something you couldn't live without for your littles?  Anything you loved that I missed?

Weirdo Easter Shopping Guide

So, I love a holiday.  I am the first to admit that I do not really believe in the tales behind Easter (aka Zombie Jesus day), but if I can celebrate with presents and fun activities then I am in.  Easter is traditionally laden with pastels, but with all the cool monochrome bunny gear out there, there is no need to succumb to the pale pallets of yore.  Here are some of my favorite pieces for a Weirdo Easter!

Zero Easter Basket (brought to you by my almost 3 year old's current obsession)

These are some of my favorites, but not everything! I have started a Witching Hour Baby Shopping Guide on Pinterest. I will add to this board several times a week so if you want the BEST of weirdo kiddo gear shopping gear, make sure you are following.

My kids wear a lot of Huxbaby. The quality is superb, the silhouettes are long wearing, and their prints are ADORABLE!  So when I got the email yesterday that they had released new styles, of COURSE I headed on over to check them out.  Here are my favorite styles from their lookbook.

It was definitely hard to keep up with the pace of the holidays, but now that we are back and FINALLY healthy (did anyone else get multiple colds??) the OOTDs will be more frequent. Yesterday we took advantage of a break in the 50 degree weather and rain to play outside. Yes, I know, boo-hoo, you So-Cal complainer!  Well, the rain flooded our house and left us all sick so I will whine a little, thankyouverymuch.  Here are the outfit details, followed by pictures.

I sourced a lot of things + inspo on my pinterest board, Zara 1.0 Kitty.
