Halloweek: American Horror Story Coven

The most glorious time of the year is here!  I am starting of Halloweek with two of my favorite characters from American Horror Story history: Fiona Goode and Myrtle Snow of American Horror Story: Coven.

Halloweek . This is Halloween

Halloweek #5 is here! On the official day, Remy requested to be her favorite Pumpkin King, Jack Skellington.  Of course, the rest of the family also were Nightmare Before Christmas characters with Zara being cast as Zero, mom as Oogie Boogie, and dad as Barrel (on of the trick or treaters).  We had so much fun and I'm pretty sure Remy will being asking to dress up as her favorite Halloween boss soon.

Halloweek . Game of Thrones

Halloweek #4 is here and we decided to honor one of the most popular current shows: Game of Thrones! Remy is the Mother of Dragons herself, Daenerys and Zara is Varys, the sneaky behind-the-scenes mastermind.  Can you believe October is almost over?? It has FLOWN BY!  Anyways, on to the pictures and details.

Halloweek . Tank Girl

Every Halloweek season we have one week that seems to be a challenge. The Tank Girl shoot is that week for us. Shoot location: closed for construction. Zara: angry at the world and her hat. So while I was unable to get snaps of them together (and Jet Girl ended up bald and hatless), we still got some great shots.  Tank Girl was my favorite movie in high school and sort of a gateway into a lot of amazing feminist and counter-culture that I never knew existed.  It was a silly, cheesy romp based on a British comic and while the critics hate it, it has a magical place in my heart. Halloweek . Depeche Mode

6 months ago, we found out Depeche Mode was coming to our area in October.  I instantly knew we needed to dress up the girls as Martin Gore and Dave Gahan for that Halloweek (Remy went onto the concert in her costume).  These were so fun to shoot...I hope you enjoy them!
