This weekend we hosted a 3rd birthday party for my oldest, Remy, that was Nightmare Before Christmas themed.  She has been asking for MONTHS for this, telling me all the specifics she wanted (smiling Jack cake, NOT frowning!). This is the perfect theme for us, being that we already have a gothic fireplace and black and white striped dinnerware...thanks for the $$ savings, kid!  Here are the details for the party, including outfit details.

OOTD . My Ghouls

Halloween is approaching and we are finding little ways to celebrate every day.  Remy has become obsessed with pumpkins, bats, and ghosts which makes shopping a constant exercise self control.  This balloon, however, is a treat for her outstanding modeling throughout the last 4 weeks of Halloweek. We tied it to this killer 7-11 Slurpee pumpkin and it's been a favorite toy of both girls.

Here are some casual looks for them, both spooky themed.  Zara felt the need to dump a water bottle on her ghost tunic right before picture time so yes, its got some splotches. You ALL know how that goes!  Here are the details anyhow, as these pieces are TOO CUTE not to share!

Gap Halloween

I'm going to be honest: I'm not a huge fan of the Gap. In fact, I would go so far as to say I wouldn't have even checked it for Halloween gear if my mom hadn't told me I should.  But seriously, I'm glad she did because this year they have really brought out their best.  From ghosts to bones to monsters, the toddler and baby stuff is perfect for a year 'round spooky household.

Dem Bones

Halloween is bringing out the best of all these brands and I just scoped these from Freshly Picked.  These adorable moccasins feature skeleton feet and come in pink or black.  They run $60 so while they are a bit much for a holiday shoes (in my opinion), I know they would be cute 365 days a year!

Rebel and Heart

I know this blog is new, but I think it's fairly obvious I love a black and white situation.  Don't get me wrong, color is great. It's beautiful.  It's very important for children to explore.  But there is just something about a crisp black and white on a child that makes my heart melt.  So when I discovered Rebel and Heart on Instagram, I squealed.  Black and white AND these adorable Halloween prints?  AHHH!
